Stadtteilschule Drewitz

The "oskar." in Potsdam-Drewitz is a neighbourhood and community centre — an open meeting place for all residents of Drewitz. Together with the primary school "Am Priesterweg", it forms the Stadtteilschule Drewitz, a unique combination of school and community centre currently without parallel in Germany.

Since 2008 we have been offering innovative cultural education projects here. In 2013, together with our partners, we launched the cultural education programme "Musik schafft Perspektive" (Music Creates Perspective) as part of the "Drewitzer Dreiklang". The programme encompasses a wide range of formats including artistic workshops, participatory concerts, rehearsal visits and flagship projects combined with public performances.
